McKenzie has always had a deep love for animals, which inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. With 3 and a half years of experience in the field, she has been a dedicated team member at Healing Hearts Specialty & Emergency Animal Hospital since September 2022. Her journey began on a dairy farm, where she gained a hands-on understanding of animal care and developed a passion for supporting the well-being of all creatures. Currently, McKenzie is furthering her education to earn her Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license, with the goal of providing the best possible care to animals in need. She is committed to being a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves and is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of both pets and their families.
